SUMMARY:Battlefield Tour - The Siege of Yorktown
DESCRIPTION:Join us in Yorktown\, Va.\, to explore the Siege of Yorktown. This is a two-day experience that includes a buffet dinner and lecture at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown\, and a lecture given by Dr. J. Britt McCarley\, chief historian and director for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Military History and Heritage Program\, will analyze the 1780-1781 Virginia campaign that culminated with the Siege of Yorktown. Accompanying the dinner and lecture\, a guided bus tour of Yorktown Battlefield the following day will closely examine the events that transpired during the siege and explore various key locations that comprised it. \nBus seating is limited to fifty-three attendees.
