DESCRIPTION:Tickets sales begin on January 15\, 2025. \nArt in Bloom DC returns to Anderson House for a fifth time on March 20-23! This popular event fills our historic headquarters with more than thirty floral arrangements inspired by the art and architecture of Anderson House. Art in Bloom provides a unique opportunity in the nation’s capital to stroll through the museum at your own pace\, viewing interpretations of specific artworks\, furnishings and architectural details rendered in a floral medium by some of Washington’s most creative and innovative floral designs. \nVisit during regular viewing hours to explore the floral arrangements\, tour the museum\, and participate in special demo sessions with featured floral designers. And join us and the premier local florists who created the displays for an evening reception exploring these floral artworks and the collections that inspired them\, catered by Spilled Milk Catering. \nAnderson House is the exclusive venue for Art in Bloom DC and is co-produced by the Institute\, Margo Fischer of Bright Occasions\, and Ashley Greer of Atelier Ashley Flowers. \nFor more information on Art in Bloom DC and to see photos of past floral installations\, visit http://www.artinbloomdc.com. \nPublic Viewing: Thursday\, March 20 – Sunday\, March 23\nThursday\, March 20 from 12 p.m.—4 p.m.\nFriday\, March 21 from 11 a.m.—6 p.m.\nSaturday\, March 22 from 10 a.m.—6 p.m.\nSunday\, March 23 from 10 a.m.—6 p.m.\nOnline Timed Tickets: $22 per person\nOnsite Timed Tickets (pending availability): $28 per person\nARI Associates and Children Under 5: Free\nDuring this limited four-day event\, visitors can explore the floral installations and tour the museum during special public viewing hours. Our expert museum docents will be on hand to discuss the history of Anderson House\, the collections and the Society of the Cincinnati and its American Revolution Institute. Guests will also have special access to the garden\, which is not normally open to the public. \nOpening Reception: Monday\, March 20\, 6-9 P.M.\nGeneral Public Early Bird - $95 per person \nGeneral Public Regular Admission - $110 per person \nSociety Members and ARI Associates Early Bird (By Jan. 31) -$85 per person \nSociety Members and ARI Associates Regular Admission - $100 per person \nJoin us for a special reception celebrating the floral sculptures of Art in Bloom DC with the premier florists who created the displays. Guests will have the unique opportunity to explore the installations\, meet the floral artists and discuss the inspirations behind their work while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and refreshments\, catered by Spilled Milk Catering. Complimentary valet will be provided. \nFloral Demonstrations:\nFriday\, March 21 from 10 a.m.—11 a.m.\nSaturday\, March 22 from 9 a.m.—10 a.m.\nSunday\, March 23 from 9 a.m.—10 a.m.\nTickets: $50 per person and demonstration\nThree Art in Bloom DC florists will present floral demonstrations during the event\, providing tips for making your own arrangements and highlighting their individual style. Details on the florists and themes for each demonstration is forthcoming. Tickets include general admission to Art in Bloom immediately following the demonstration. Space is limited.
